I noticed that I have a Video Controller in Other Device that has no drivers installed. I tried doing this in Display Adaptors, but it said that Windows determined that the Basic Driver was the latest driver for it, it refused the driver I told it to update to. ![]() Then browse to the location of the driver I downloaded is and choose that. Someone suggested that I should try going into DM, right-click VGA (which isn't on my list), and click update. I did check in Windows Updates and there was nothing there either. Currently the Windows Basic Driver is installed according the the Device Manager. ![]() Windows 8 seems to not be able to recognize my second monitor! I have installed all sorts of drivers from AMD and they either are not detected or won't install. I have two monitors hooked up to my PC via the AMD, one is a Acer and the other is a HP. I have a AMD FireGL V3100 in a Dell Optiplex 745.
